Driver dies after crashing into a south St. Louis building

ST. LOUIS – A driver is dead after a car crashes into a building in the Bevo Mill neighborhood on Gravois and Newport Court around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday. A fire hydrant was also struck. A passenger was hurt and taken to the hospital.

Police search for victim in St. Louis apartment shooting

ST. LOUIS — A shooting in the lobby of an apartment building in The Ville neighborhood. This was at James House on St. Ferdinand Avenue. So far, police have not found a victim, and they are searching every one of the more than one hundred units. Police say persons of interest are being questioned.
