Space shuttle Endeavour hoisted upright for display

The retired space shuttle Endeavour was hoisted into place for display Monday in Los Angeles. The orbiter, fused to the external boosters that helped blast the shuttles out of Earth’s atmosphere, is the first to be displayed in its upright position as though ready for launch.
