O’FALLON, Ill. – The Women’s Club of O’Fallon, Illinois, is hosting its 15th annual ‘Empty Bowl’ Fundraiser.
Each year, the event is on Ash Wednesday. Guests will get a simple meal of soup, bread, and water to remind them of those in the community facing food insecurity.
It’s $10 for the meal and a commemorative bowl. Proceeds will go to the O’Fallon Food Pantry. The event is from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Gateway Classic Cars.
