ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Over 130 cats were rescued from a home in Wildwood, Missouri, leaving APA Olivette to manage the largest cat hoarding case in the shelter’s history.

The APA Olivette shelter is in need of adoptions, foster homes, volunteers, and donations while caring for over 137 cats, with more still arriving daily.

The shelter says the hoarding case has pushed their total cat population to nearly 500, stretching their resources to the limit.

The hoarding case is connected to a house in Wildwood where the cats lived in cluttered conditions with an elderly couple and an additional roommate.
