13-year-old threatened, robbed of iPhone in Dutchtown

ST. LOUIS – Police are searching for a group of suspects in connection to the robbing of a 13-year-old on Saturday.

According to St. Louis Police, the theft took place at the intersection of Itaska and South Grand around 3 p.m. in the city’s Dutchtown neighborhood.

The 13-year-old was reportedly walking near the intersection when he was approached by a group of males in their teens or possibly early twenties. Police said one of the suspects pulled out a gun and took the victim’s iPhone.

Police ask anyone with information to contact the South Patrol Division for a District 1 detective or call CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS (8477)
