12-year-old St. Charles boy on life support passes away

ST. CHARLES, Mo. – Travis Wolfe, the 12-year-old boy who has been on life support since a car crash months ago, passed away Wednesday.

On Dec. 20, Travis and his family were involved in a car crash that left injuries for him and his parents.

It was the night before Travis’ 12th birthday.

According to Travis’ brother-in-law, he hit his head on the window and potentially the roof, leaving damage to his brain and brain stem.

Travis was rushed to St. Louis Children’s Hospital, with his parents taken to a different hospital for their injuries. His dad had broken wrists and ribs, while his mom had a broken ankle and sternum.
