ALTON, Ill. – One person has died after a fatal fire in Alton, Illinois.
The Alton Fire Department responded to the home on Thursday on the 2700 block of Grandview. By the time the massive fire was under control, the victim had died.
The Alton fire chief says when they arrived, there was what he called “heavy fire” coming out of the front side of the building.
